HIRE EQUIPMENT TRADING TERMS.

Effective 1st July 2014. These terms govern the acceptance and transfer of Chep and Loscam hire equipment.

HIRE EQUIPMENT ACCEPTED

Prospect Refrigerated Transport will only accept Chep and Loscam wooden pallets.
Hire equipment other than wooden pallets are not permitted to be transferred onto our accounts without prior approval from Prospect Tpt.
Any wooden pallet other than Chep and Loscam (i.e. skids, plain pallets) will be at the supplier's expense.
Prospect Refrigerated Transport do exchange pallets with suppliers that do not have Chep or Loscam accounts through an Exchange Register which adheres to the Prospect Refrigerated Transport Exchange Policy and Procedure.

All deliveries into Prospect Refrigerated Transport and all pick ups by Prospect Refrigerated Transport must be accompanied with an equipment transfer docket.
Prospect Refrigerated Transport will not raise equipment transfers on behalf of the supplier/carrier at any time.
Prospect Refrigerated Transport accept the following transfer types: CMD (Chep movement docket), Chepmate and Chep Portfolio.
Prospect Refrigerated Transport accept the following Loscam transfer types: ECD (equipment control docket), Loscam Online and HMS (Hire Management System).
Prospect Refrigerated Transport accept 2ic generated dockets for both Chep and Loscam.
Prospect Refrigerated Transport do not advise of transfers on to our accounts. It is the responsibility of the sending party.
All transfers onto Prospect Refrigerated Transport are subject to a 30 day delay from date of shipment/despatch. Transfers not processed within the 30 day delay will be corrected accordingly.
Suppliers and carriers have 6 months from shipment/despatch date to advise of transfers onto Prospect Refrigerated Transport accounts. Transfers outside this period will not be accepted by Prospect Refrigerated Transport.
